Blind Walk Experience – Saltram House & Gardens
Saturday 18 April 2026
Join All Things Dotty for a powerful and memorable experience designed to help people understand what it is like to navigate the world without sight.
During this guided walk through the beautiful surroundings of Saltram House and Gardens, participants will wear a blindfold and use a long cane while being guided by their partner. Along the route you will discover how people with sight loss explore the world through sound, touch, scent and spatial awareness.
Halfway through the 2-mile walk, participants will swap roles so both people experience walking with and without sight.
This is a safe, supportive group event that raises awareness of visual impairment while encouraging people to experience the world from a different perspective.
