Jack and The Beanstalk

Jack and the Beanstalk is a lively story about a poor boy who lives with his mother and is sent to sell their cow to earn money. Instead of selling it for cash, Jack trades the cow for a handful of mysterious beans, which his mother angrily throws outside. Overnight the beans grow into a huge beanstalk that reaches far up into the clouds. Jack climbs it and discovers a giant’s castle filled with treasures, including a magical harp and a hen that lays golden eggs. Jack must move carefully because the giant is huge, loud, and dangerous, and he can sense when Jack is nearby. After taking some of the treasures to help his mother, Jack is chased down the beanstalk by the giant. Jack reaches the ground first and cuts the beanstalk, causing the giant to fall and disappear. With the magical items, Jack and his mother escape poverty and live a better life.
