The Three Little Pigs

The Three Little Pigs is a simple story about three pig siblings who each build a house to keep themselves safe from a hungry wolf. The first pig makes a house of straw, which is quick and easy but not very strong. The second pig builds a house of sticks, which takes a little more effort but is still not sturdy. The third pig works hard to build a solid house of bricks, which is strong and secure. When the wolf arrives, he tries to blow down each house. He easily destroys the straw house, then the stick house, and the first two pigs run to their brother’s brick house for safety. The wolf cannot blow down the brick house no matter how hard he tries, and eventually he gives up. The pigs remain safe because of the strong home built with care and patience.
